Vintage Woman ATC's

I joined a challenge to make an ATC of vintage women and their accessories.  Well some time ago my mom was ripping pictures out of a photo album that she wanted to use for 'her' pictures.  The album must have belonged to her husband's first wife, Ms Edie.  Unfortunately, all the photos were taped into the album using scotch tape.  While the tape had not started to yellow yet, it was next to impossible to remove it without ripping the pictures.  Still, I wouldn't let my mother throw them away.  I have been saving these photos for years...thinking I may decoupage with them...or find someone to tell me how to safely remove the tape.  Finally, this is how I used them (some were the perfect size for ATC's and I was able to carefully peel off the tape):

Many of the photos were not labeled.  I have no idea who these people are, but I am still  grateful to have a little piece of history.  This photo may have been taken in Atlantic City, NJ.

According to the handwriting that I could decipher; this is a photo of "Sister Inlow Thomas"

It is hard to see, but there is glitter on the palm tree leaves and around the word 'DIVA'

Materials:
Faber Castell Pitt pen
glitter gel pen
white gel pen
cs
bling

Thanks for stopping by.  I hope you come again soon.

  2. The Vintage photo's are more meaningful when you know the people or know someone that has known the people. Great job.
