Summer would not be complete without my little guy, DUGAN.  I made the toilet paper roll mini for him.  It is vertical and each page has a tag.

I may add some ribbon to the top of the album and some more embellishments.  This was fun to make because it is crafting, but mostly becuse DUGAN is so darn cute. Do I sound biased? lol

Now for today's project.  Many of you know that even though I do not have children of my own,  for some reason I am the kid magnet in the neighborhood.  I captured these pictures of these two little guys climbing the tree in my front yard.  The kids actually knock on my door and say "Miss Teen Teen, can we climb your tree?"  Although these photos were taken in early spring before everything started to bloom...being a kid and climbing trees definitely spells SUMMER FUN!

Thursday

ATC

This ATC is made with watercolor pencils, glitter pen, sakura souffle pens and a pigma micron black pen.  I was playing around with drawing people.

Be sure to check back over the weekend for the Hot fun in the Summer Blog Hop.  There will be some really cool projects.

Thanks for stopping by.  I hope you come again soon.

Love freely

Here is an art journal page.
Sentiment: Love freely

Thanks for stopping by.  I hope you come again soon.

Monday

Perhaps I stuttered...

...because I am wondering what part of "NO IMAGE" do you not understand?  LOL!!!!  Ok I made this card for the 'Say it with words' challenge at Mema's Crafts blog.  I was about to upload this card then I realized that the butterfly is an image...duh!  The project was not to have any images.

Materials: The scripture is from Word Art Wednesday.  The butterfly is a wall decal that I have had for years.  Flowers from my stash. Stickles and TH distress ink.

Thanks for stopping by.  I hope you come again soon.

Sunday

Father's Day Card

I got the inspiration for this card from an online buddy Donna Idlet.  Be sure to check out her blog.  I usually just make the shirts and tie as a card, but I tried making the shirt smaller to put on a card.  I may make more.  This was fun.  Thanks for the inspiration Donna.

I just noticed that I need to cross my 'T" lol  My grammar school teacher would be having a fit : )

This card is made from scraps.  Even though it is for a male I wanted to use bright happy colors.

Thanks for stopping by.  I hope you come again soon.

Word Art Wednesday Challenge #31

This made sense in my head...lol.  A changed butterfly coming out of a cracked heart with the scripture holding it together...blah, blah, blah.  Even though the art journal page turned out way different from the idea in my head, this scripture makes me think...what a wonderful change!  Thank God for this promise.  Here is my submission for the Word Art Wednesday challenge:

Scripture:
A new heart also will I give you,
and a new spirit will I put within you:
and I will take away the stony heart of your flesh,
and I will give you a heart of flesh
Ezekiel 36:26

A Die for a Sketch Challenge 1

This card is made from all scraps.  The bird was attached to the sentiment bubble.  My friend gave it to me when it didn't work for her project.  I cut the bird away from the bubble (they were attached).  Looking at the card now I should have used a smaller bubble as I can see too much white space.  Oh well next time.  I am still going to submit the card to the "A die for a sketch" challenge.  My friend Nancy is on the DT.

Materials:
cs
scrap sunflower fabric
sunflower ribbon
stickles
sakura pens
at you spica pens
TH distress ink
CTMH markers
watercolor pencils (pennants and bird)

Die cut: borderabilities, Cricut: song brid

Father's Day Mini Album

My friend Nancy had a smilebox on her blog  and I thought that was a great idea for sharing this mini I made for my father.  I did not grow up with my dad in my life, so I thought that this mini would give him a little snipet about me and my world.  He lives in Alabama and we rarely get to visit.  We have reconnected since I have become an adult.  I hope he likes the gift.

Only God knows...

...what papers these are. (LOL)  The journaling says: The little things really are the big things.  This is me and my friend Mari.  We can be real silly when we get together.

Thanks for stopping by.  I hope you come again soon.
