Tripilicate Trials Tuesday Challenge

The premise for this challenge is three things:  a theme, a color scheme and a sketch.  I do not use sketches that I do not create myself so this really is a challenge.  Check out the requirements here http://www.triplicatetrials.blogspot.com/  The theme is childhood.  Okay, so we all know that Miss Tina has a million and one pictures of the kids.  However, I could only think about my mama.  She was my first teacher.  I call her sometimes just to thank her for being there.  I remember days filled with fun activities.  Drawing, writing, sewing, cooking, crafting and of course playing.  She is part of the reason that I have such a passion for teaching children.   Not just English, science and math, but all the creative stuff that they rarely get exposed to in school and that modern working moms do not have the time to do with their children.  I do not feel negatively about any mother who has to work or chooses to work outside of the home; but I sure do appreciate my mom for waiting until I was in high school before she went to work.  Okay...before I start to cry...here is the card.  The inking is kinda messy and I am trying to embrace my handwriting, but hey love me anyway (LOL)

colored with primsa pencils and gamsol, sakura gel pens, and bic mark its
nestability scallop cut
ribbon from stash
all paper is scrap paper

I still have time to try this challenge again with a picture.

Thanks for visiting.  Come back soon.
