Ain't I a Woman

Ain't I a Woman
Pearl of Great Price

Never too late

Here is an art journal page I made.  I was inspired by Tracy W.  She hosts a USTREAM show on Mondays. This was the July creative dare-but I missed the deadline. The hearts I used were left over from a Mother and Daughter Tea, held at my church more than 5 years ago.  WOW! That is a long time ago- that is why crafters cannot throw away anything- we eventually use it! lol

My friend, Donchel and I sponsored a table.  We invited our mothers, sisters, daughters, and nieces.   Each group decorated their table according to a theme.  Our theme was forgiveness and the color scheme was black and white.  We won first place for the most artistically decorated table.  I recall that we gave our prize to the table that we liked the best-their theme was light houses.  It was a fun event.  There is a scripture about forgiveness printed on each heart.

Can you tell that I REALLY need a new camera? : (  In person this page is really red. Sentiment:Carry forgiveness in your heart.

Thanks for stopping by.  I hope you come again soon.

  1. So creative!! Congrats on winning 1st place.

  2. Oh, we have a Festival of Tables at my old church and I loved it. There were some awesome table decorating going on! Congrats for winning the prize and an even bigger congrats for giving it away! May your generosity come back two fold for you. I love how each heart has a scripture verse printed on it. You did a fabulous job on the dare. waving hi from the hills of North Carolina ♥
