Snow Bird Water Color

Now I have played with watercolor crayons before, but this is my first watercolor painting.  I took a class at the library.  It was fun and I learned some great techniques.  I liked that all the students created something different.  Watercolor...what a great medium!

This class was fun.  The most challenging part was trying to determine how much water to use.  My brush was too wet most of the time.  I hope I get the hang of it soon.  I tried to get the instructor to give me the sample so I could pass it off as mine(LOL).  I almost had her convinced...then one by one the other students wanted me to mail the picture to them when I finished.  Imagine that!  hahhaha  Seriously, seeing the sample definitely gives me inspiration and something to strive towards.
