Treat box

I have been wanting to make a large treat box. The dimensions for a 8 x 8 box were posted on the Scraps

 of Color .ning site.  Thanks Jazz!  Here is the sample I made using scraps.

The base is 8 x8 and the lid is 8.5 x 8.5                         The 8.5 lid compared to the 8 x 8 bottom

So, one night when I couldn't sleep I played around with the dimensions to make a tighter fitting lid.  Good thing I payed attention in math class. Here is a 8 1/8 x 8 1/8 lid which fits snugly on the 8 x8 bottom.
